| Q:
I am using CP 6.0. In WordPad I want to format Chinese
to TSC UKai M TT font,
but the program always stays at the default font PMingLiu even after I choose TSC UKai M
TT to format it. How do I format it to TSC UKai M TT ? |

A: The reason you ran into this problem is that the attribute of TSC UKai M TT belongs
to the GB code, which defines Simplified Chinese; whereas the input method
you chose was Traditional Chinese.
Follow the steps below to use TSC UKai M TT to type Traditional Chinese in WordPad
(or MS
Word).
1. Open WordPad.
2. Open the Simplified Chinese input method: Click the "EN" language button
and select "CH Chinese (PRC)" from the pop-up list. (Alternatively, you can
use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+1.")
3. Click the
button to open the menu as shown below.
4. Select "Input Code Using" >> "Unicode: Traditional
Chinese."
5. Now you can input Traditional Chinese characters with TSC UKai M TT. |
