Q. When I try to input Chinese, Japanese, or Korean characters in MS Publisher 2000, I get an error message saying "Publisher cannot paste the contents of the clipboard. The data may be corrupt, or Publisher does not recognize the format." What should I do?

  A. Please follow the steps below to configure the input method of CJK Partner 6.0:
    1. Press Ctrl+Shift+1 (for Simplified Chinese) or Ctrl+Shift+2 (for Traditional Chinese) to open the Chinese Input Prompt Line.
    2. Click the button to bring up a menu.
    3. Go to the "Input Code Using" option, and then select "Unicode: Traditional Chinese."
Now you can start to input Chinese characters in MS Publisher 2000.

Although the instruction is for Chinese Partner 6.0, it also applies to Japanese, and Korean Partner 6.0.
